Cadillac on pole from a great lap from Alex Lynn. How is the preparation going. Who’s quick (most people!), who has more consistent speed, where are the cars quick?

Including the test day Toyota have run the most laps. They will miss out on running in a couple of the short hypercar sessions with the #7 car tomorrow.

Lap Times

Alex Lynn put it on pole with 3:23.166 in the #12 Cadillac, but the fastest lap came from the #311 Cadillac in hyperpole 1. It is the #12 with the best Top 10, but #83 has the best Top 20%. However it is Toyota, who had a disappointing qualifying that has the top 60%

Looking at the top 20% the field is spread by 1.3%

#4 has good averages, but missed out on hyperpole. To a lesser extent the same is true of #7.

When did they set their fastest lap? It is spread across all the qualifying sessions. Only Jaminet set the car’s fastest time in hyperpole 2.

In an attempt to remove the fastest tow supported speed trap numbers the averages from Top 20% to Top 60% laps. Obviously not perfect, but better than including a lot of laps, or including those super good laps.
