2025 Wednesday Update Hypercar

The usual (for Le Mans) suspects are at the top, but how are preparations going.

Lappery Lap TimesSectorsSpeed Trap

Lappery

Including the test day Toyota have run the most laps. They will miss out on running in a couple of the short hypercar sessions with the #7 car tomorrow.

Lap Times

As ofter happens #83 doesn’t hang around in practicing. Although it was #12 that set the fastest in qualifying. Top 20 laps – the entire field is covered by 1.1%!

The % are incorrect. I can’t be bothered to change the code tonight!

#4 has good averages, but missed out on hyperpole. To a lesser extent the same is true of #7.

When did they set their fastest lap? Everyone, unsurprisingly, set it in q2. Most were later in the session, but #83 was early on.

Warning: Includes deleted laps.

The approach so far. More car charts at the bottom of this page.

Qualifying is towards the end of this chart, as opposed to being in chronological order.

Sectors

Toyota, Porsche and Ferrari chare the sectors. Cadillac are close too.

Extra Sectors

Back for 2025 are additional sector timings. The location and classification is outlined here.

Slow Corner Sectors

Fast Corner Sectors

Cadillac are strong in these corners.

Low Speed Acceleration Sectors

Aston Martin remains strong here! These are short sectors.

Medium Straights

Long Straights

and that leads into Speed Trap…

Speed Trap

In an attempt to remove the fastest tow supported speed trap numbers the averages from Top 30 to Top 60 laps. Obviously not perfect, but better than including a lot of laps, or including those super good laps.

The approach. Sorry, this has put qualifying to the end of these charts.
