Additional Timing Loops

This year the ACO have introduced some new timing loops so we have some additional “sector” times.

Previously we have had additional sector data. Back in 20111 we had additional times from the Esses (T6 and T7 were actually timed independently), Porsche Curves, and Ford Chicane2.

For 2025 the set-up is a little different. The ACO are taking advantage of some loops that have been installed for other reasons, like for safety cars. There are 15 timing loops, the total time of which is the entire lap time.

These extra sectors are broken down as follows:

The loop positions can be found on the official circuit map.
Descriptive Name gives an idea of which part of the circuit it covers without need for reference to the map.
When presenting the data these will be grouped with like sectors (approximately!)
Typical Time shows how long it takes for the medium car in the whole field. Hypercars will be quicker. GT slower.

How do these sectors and times compare to 2011?
