Daytona IMSA November Test BoP

A new BoP is published for the Daytona Test. The rule makers have previously tried some things at the test and at ROAR in January.

Power to Weight

Porsche gets a bump after a period of low power to weight. Cadillac is now lowest here, just.

We saw minimal differences in 2023, the range grew in 2024, and was even more extreme in 2025. More recently it has become very 2024 like, other than for Aston Martin, which presumably is pushing everyone else lower.

Weight

It is the weight that is driving the difference above between Porsche/Cadillac and Acura/BMW.

Power

Very similar power for all, with the exception of Aston Martin. With the power driving a good chunk of the overall P/W difference.

High Speed Power

There is less difference on high speed power here, which will be interesting to see on the banking. Aston Martin has a negative adjustment for high speed power now and it moves it to the bottom of the list. Aston Martin made their GTP debut after Daytona at Sebring last year.

High Speed power adjustment introduced from 2024 Daytona BoP test. High Speed power >250kph, except 2025 Laguna Seca and Detroit >200kph.

Replenishment Rate

A full 100% energy stop is still 40 seconds.
