A look at how the intra-team drive line ups compare.
Porsche
Let’s look at Penske first, because Penske was first. And second. Penske’s approach was to give one driver (#7 Nasr, #6 Jaminet) in each car the bulk of the time. This driver started and finished the race. The approach was broadly consistent across both cars.

Generally, stints were defined by yellows and energy usage.

Nasr and Jaminet were evenly matched. Nasr stole a march at the final restart and found it easy to maintain to the flag.
Frijns and Bamber challenged the two Penske drivers over Top 50 averages, but over Top 100 both these drivers had the pace and the opportunity to get in these impressive laps.

Proton / JDC

A closer spread and more equitable driver time share with the two privateer cars. For Proton Jani got a little more mileage and started and finished the race. An usual approach amongst the Porsche cars for JDC; Bruni started and had slightly higher share of time in the car, but Mueller finished the race.

In the JDC there was a difference in the tire usage of each driver. Van der Helm had to double stint twice on one set of tires, Bruni only his opening stint and Mueller did not double stint1.
Acura

Unlike Porsche it wasn’t until the last stint before Acura showed many sub 1:50 laps.

Cadillac
Cadillac gave Bamber the most laps and he had the speed to go with it. Vesti in the same car put in some great laps in his last stints and was the quickest of the Cadillac drivers over Top 20 or so laps.

In the WTR cars Hartley and Stevens stick out. They got the middle stints and did the leg work with three stints (plus extra stops for Hartley). Average speed wasn’t great.

BMW
Frijns really showed his pace. van der Linde had the least laps and the worst timings in the rotation – he started and was done by lap 200.

#24 didn’t complete the race distance.

Aston Martin
Overall it is also interesting to note, that unlike the others the Aston didn’t set its quickest laps towards the end. Presumably nothing to fight for and really wanted to make the distance.

As has been clear in their two races they put a lot of faith in Gunn. He’s had the laps and rewards with speed. Riberas stole the faster lap during that quick stint around the 200 lap mark, but didn’t get the mileage of the other two.

Lamborghini
It briefly led until it forgot to restart. It didn’t complete the race and every driver was limited in time and all three end up bottom of the averages chart. Over the limited running they all did they were evenly matched.
