A fun little sprint race coming up, here are the BoP changes.1
Power to Weight
BMW and Aston Martin gain relative to the others who lose power.
BMW has been strong, but not got the results recently, so this could be good for them. They’ve had their moments at Long Beach too.
Aston Martin is new and wasn’t that quick, so they are getting the benefit.
Lamborghini sit out this sprint round.

IMSA are persisting with a wider variation here. There is a definite change in approach. This coincided with the new high speed Power adjustment, but could also just be that they are feeling themselves and happy to go more extreme.
Here is how those changes occurred by Weight and Power
Weight

Acrua’s drop in P/W has been achieved partially by increasing the weight. For Cadillac and Porsche they get a drop in weight…
Power

… but Cadillac and Porsche get a big drop in power. With Acura’s smaller drop they are similar with P/W, but IMSA has tweaked the how.
It is interesting that IMSA are quite happy to go under 500kW for some. Especially those that make it up with high speed power:
High Speed Power

Some tweaking here too. Although Cadillac is still viewed as a brick compared to the others, with Acura joining it. BMW gains in low speed power, but loses out in high speed power.
Replenishment Rate
A full 100% energy stop is still 40 seconds.
