A short race this weekend, on a double bill with Indycar.
- GTP and GTD only1.
- Just two practice sessions (9am, 1pm) and qualifying (5:10pm) on Friday.
- 100 minute race on Saturday (2:05pm).
- 1.968 mile street circuit2
Laps completed – GTP (after practice 1)
Aston Martin continues the trend of fewer practice laps compared to others. BMW continue their trend of putting in the miles, but it is #85 Porsche that leads the way.

Lap times are very practice like with little inconsistency as they find their way round this street course. Let’s see if practice 2 (the final practice) brings more race like stints:

Why doesn’t Aston Martin do as many laps as others in practice? In Practice 1 only Gunn had a go and slowly worked down to his fastest towards the end.

Laps completed – GTD (after practice 2)
Problems for a few of the cars, but it is pretty consistent with most cars 32 or 33 laps! #32 Mercedes makes an effort to get in the most laps.

A decent stint for Lucas, spending time getting down to his quickest time. Although it was Koch that set the car’s fastest of fp1.

MIlner got some laps in with the #36 and then Wickens took over.
