The hour-by-hour chart shows heavy position churn early and overnight, before the extended fog period reset the field and led to a much more stable lead group for the remainder of the race. The eventual winner, the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport, ran almost entirely inside the top three, repeatedly cycling through the lead but never suffering a significant drop or recovery phase. That consistency after the fog delay meant the #7 entered the final hours already in control of track position, allowing it to defend the win rather than needing a late-race comeback.
