Note: in the timing data the Aston Martin’s 007 and 009 are numbered 1007 and 1009 to avoid confusing the timing systems. In the analysis of the race for equipe43 1007 and 1009 will be used for ease.
Interestingly when Aston Martin returned to competition in 2025 with 007 and 009 they didn’t use this trick and they didn’t treat the field as alphanumeric, so it meant they were missing from the timing for the first few sessions!

Class

GTE PRO was the most populous class in 2011, but there was an even split between GT and prototype cars.

Marque

Ferrari had the most cars, split across 6 435 Italia and 4 F430. Porsche was second with 8 911 RSR (997).

Tyres

Michelin had to supply the most tyres to the grid, but Dunlop had more LM P2 cars. Both are represented in each category. Hankook have one entry and are a title sponsor of #89 Hankook-Team Farnbacher Ferrari 458 Italia.
