When Fastest laps were set

Most of the benchmark laps were set in FP1, including the top two overall from the two Mercedes-AMGs. FP2 only produced the best Aston Martin lap from Dudu Barrichello and the best Ford lap from Till Bechtolsheimer.

Sectors

Aston Martin #27 topped both S2 and S3, showing real strength in the middle and final parts of the lap. Porsche #912 was best in S1 and then strongest on long-run average, suggesting the most complete overall package rather than just one standout sector.

Drivers

Some crews leaned heavily on one driver, with Adam Adelson doing 42 laps in #120 and Trent Hindman 41 in #45, while others spread the mileage more evenly. The quickest drivers were not always the busiest: Ellis set the best lap from 18 laps, Andrews led the Top 5 average on 27, and Pera combined speed with useful volume on 23 laps.

GTD PRO

Build-Up laps

Porsche #911 and Ferrari #033 did the most laps with 71 each, just ahead of Ferrari #62 on 70 and Porsche #77 on 67. Ford #65 did the fewest on 47, with Lamborghini #9 on 49 and Mercedes-AMG #48 on 50 also notably lower than the main mileage leaders.

Fastest Laps and Averages

Porsche #77 was the benchmark, setting the fastest lap at 2:00.070 and also leading the Top 10, Top 20, and Top 40 averages. McLaren #59 was next on outright pace, but Porsche #911 looked strongest behind #77 on the deeper average numbers.

When Fastest laps were set

Most of the quickest laps came in the first half-hour of FP1 or FP2, including the top three overall times. A few came later, but the main trend was that the best pace appeared early in the sessions.

Sectors

Porsche’s advantage came from balance, with #911 quickest in S1 and #77 quickest in both S2 and S3. Lexus #14 was especially strong in S1 but could not carry that through the full lap, while Ferrari #62’s strength across S2 and S3 translated into strong overall pace.

Drivers

AO Racing combined heavy driver mileage with the best pace, as Harry King and Alessio Picariello did 35 and 32 laps and also led the key averages. Mercedes-AMG #48 had one of the most uneven splits, with Scott Noble doing 24 laps and Jason Hart only 5, suggesting a more selective run plan.

LMP2

Inter Europol #43 did the most running with 90 laps, leading the class on mileage. JDC-Miller #79 was the clear outlier on just 43 laps after being help for 60 minutes in the pits for a technical infringement1, with AO #99 and Pratt Miller #73 had limited running after a fuel cell issue.

Practice laps

Fastest Laps and Averages

AO #99 set the outright fastest lap at 1:50.639, just ahead of Inter Europol #43 on 1:50.695. Inter Europol was the real pace benchmark overall, topping the Top 10, Top 20 and Top 40 lap averages.

When Fastest laps were set

The two quickest laps both came in FP2, with AO #99 and Inter Europol #43 setting them within the first hour. More broadly, most of the best laps came early in runs rather than deep into stints.

Sectors

Inter Europol #43 was quickest in both S2 and S3, which lines up with its class-leading average pace. CrowdStrike #04 led S1, but Inter Europol’s strength through the longer middle and final sectors made it the more complete package.

Drivers

The headline lap times came from the quicker pro and gold drivers, but several bronze and silver drivers logged the heavier mileage. Inter Europol stood out here too, combining the most total laps with front-running pace from Tom Dillmann and solid supporting mileage from its other drivers.

GTP

Practice laps

Cadillac #40 and BMW #25 topped the lap count, with most of the field clustered between 67 and 74 laps. Porsche #7 was the only clear low runner on 59 laps.

Fastest Laps and Averages

Porsche #7 was quickest overall on a 1:47.043 and also led the Top 10 and Top 20 averages. Cadillac #31 had the best Top 40 average, so it looked strongest on the longest runs, but that is helped by running more laps and its approach to the session.

When Fastest laps were set

Nearly all the fastest laps came in FP2, with only Aston Martin #23 setting its best lap in FP1. Porsche #7’s benchmark came very early in FP2, while several others improved later in the session.

Sectors

Cadillac #31 led S1, but Porsche #7 was best in both S2 and S3. That matches the overall picture: Cadillac was strong and steady, while Porsche had the best outright lap combination.

Drivers

Felipe Nasr was the standout on pure pace, setting the fastest lap and best short-run average for Porsche #7. Kevin Magnussen did the biggest driver workload on 36 laps for BMW #25, while Louis Deletraz was especially strong on deeper-run pace for Cadillac #40.
