#43 puts in the miles

LMP2

Practice laps

Inter Europol #43 again led the class on mileage and extended its advantage, ending the first three practices on 132 laps, ahead of CrowdStrike #04 on 130, TDS #11 on 124 and United #2 on 119. The clear low runner remained JDC-Miller #79 on 84 laps, though that gap was much less severe than after two sessions, while #43 strengthened its position by staying both busiest and quickest.

Fastest Laps and Averages

There was a significant shift at the top: Inter Europol #43 moved from second-fastest outright after two practices to fastest overall after three, with Tom Dillmann’s 1:50.056 now the class best. #43 also improved from already leading the averages to becoming the clear benchmark across every metric, topping fastest lap, Top 10, Top 20 and Top 40.

When Fastest laps were set

The biggest pace gains came in FP3, with the top three laps of the event all set there, including Inter Europol #43’s best lap at 1:23 into the session. That is the major change from the earlier picture, when the top two laps had both come in FP2; now #43 finished the practice build-up with the final statement lap.

Sectors

Inter Europol #43 remained strongest where it matters most for complete lap time, going fastest in both S2 and S3, and it also improved to second in S1, which helps explain why it now owns the outright fastest lap as well as the best averages. The pattern is now clearer than before: cars like CrowdStrike #04 still shine in S1, but #43’s strength through the longer middle and final sectors makes it the most complete package.

Drivers

Tom Dillmann gave #43 the standout driver line of the weekend so far, with the fastest lap, best Top 5 average, best Top 20 average and best Top 40 average, while also logging a hefty 58 laps. Inter Europol also backed that up with useful supporting mileage from Bijoy Garg and Jeremy Clarke, so compared with the last analysis #43 no longer just looked strong on averages — it now looks strong on both headline pace and overall programme depth.

GTD

Build-Up laps

#912 Manthey Porsche did the most running on 117 laps, ahead of #28 RS1 on 109 and #36 DXDT on 108. The lowest totals were #27 Heart of Racing on 73 and #57 WINWARD on 75, but the gap is less stark now than it was after two sessions.

Fastest Laps and Averages

The outright fastest lap remains Philip Ellis in the #57 Mercedes-AMG at 1:59.363, so the one-lap benchmark did not change from the earlier analysis. On averages, though, #80 Lone Star Mercedes-AMG is the standout, leading the Top 10, Top 20 and Top 40 tables, while the #912 Porsche has strengthened its case with huge mileage and a very close Top 40 of 2:01.389.

When Fastest laps were set

The fastest overall lap is still from FP1, with Ellis’ 1:59.363 in the #57, and the second-fastest overall also remains an FP1 lap from Scott Andrews in the #80. Compared with the two-session picture, FP3 has now become much more relevant, producing the best laps for Ferrari #21, Porsche #912, BMW #96, Ferrari #70, Lexus #12, Chevrolet #36, Porsche #28 and Lamborghini #45.

Sectors

The sector table now points to Lexus #12 as especially interesting, topping S1 and S3, which fits with its strong overall averages and suggests very good entry/exit performance around the lap. Mercedes still owns the middle sector with #80 and #57 running 1-2 in S2, and that lines up neatly with Mercedes continuing to look like the cleanest all-round package on both outright pace and average pace.

Drivers

Antonio Fuoco stands out for combining speed and volume in the #21 Ferrari with 51 laps and a 2:00.060 best, while Scott Andrews still owns the best short-run averages and Morris Schuring has become the quickest Porsche driver on outright lap time. The biggest shift since the last analysis is that FP3 added much more representative driver data: instead of the story being mostly about a few FP1 headline laps, it now looks more balanced between outright specialists and drivers who also carried a serious share of the workload.

GTD PRO

Practice laps

Manthey’s #911 led mileage on 112 laps, ahead of Ferrari #033 on 108, Ferrari #62 on 107, and AO Racing’s Roxy Porsche #77 on 102. The lowest totals were Ford #65 on 75 and Lamborghini #9 on 78, with Lexus #14 and Mercedes-AMG #48 also notably lower than the main runners.

Fastest Laps and Averages

Lexus #14 now has the outright fastest lap with a 1:59.895 in FP3, which is the main change from the first two sessions. AO Racing’s Roxy #77 still leads the Top 10, Top 20, and Top 40 averages, so it remains the strongest all-round car.

When Fastest laps were set

FP3 produced most of the headline laps and reshuffled the outright order. #77’s FP2 time still stands up very well, but the session trend moved later than it had after only two practices.

Sectors

Porsche still has the best sector balance, with #911 fastest in S1 and S3 and Roxy #77 fastest in S2. Lexus #14’s improvement is backed up by strong sector rankings across the lap, not just one standout split.

Drivers

Porsche’s lead drivers combined pace with volume: Thomas Preining did 53 laps, Harry King 52, and Alessio Picariello 50. The key change is Jack Hawksworth taking Lexus #14 to the fastest lap overall, but AO Racing’s Roxy #77 still looks strongest on sustained pace.

GTP

Practice laps

The mileage picture tightened over three sessions: Porsche #6 led on 115 laps, with Cadillac #31 on 113 and Cadillac #40 and Porsche #5 on 111, while most of the field still cleared 100 laps. Aston Martin #23 remained the only clear low runner on 96 laps, so there was no dramatic mileage outlier beyond that.

Fastest Laps and Averages

Porsche might not have had the fastest lap in that last session, but improved its position in this ranking during this night session. The race ends in the dark…

When Fastest laps were set

The top four fastest laps still came in FP2, though both BMWs improved their best laps in FP3. Porsche’s pace still held into the later, darker session, which is especially relevant given race conditions.

Sectors

Cadillac #31 still led S1, but Porsche #7 led both S2 and S3, with Porsche #6 close behind. That sector pattern matches the overall averages: Cadillac was sharp early in the lap, but Porsche was stronger across the rest of it.

Drivers

Felipe Nasr still had the standout single-lap pace in #7, while Laurens Vanthoor was strongest on deeper-run averages in #6. Tom Blomqvist did the heaviest workload on 63 laps for Acura #60, but Porsche’s combination of mileage and pace is what really stood out.
